Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art known for its graceful and
powerful kicks, punches, and blocks. At River Valley Tae Kwon Do we practice Ji Do Kwan in the style of Master Choi Bong Young, a
noncompetitive but technically rigorous interpretation of Tae Kwon Do.
Ji Do Kwan is challenging, beautiful, and can be used as an
effective form of self-defense. Workouts are physically demanding,
but because teaching starts slowly and gains intensity gradually,
beginners develop the necessary strength,
endurance, flexibility, and balance over time.
You can find our school at four locations in New England. Beginners are welcome to attend any class. Please feel free to drop in if you have any questions or if you'd like to watch or try our martial art.
Locations and Cost

Our classes are free, but most of our instructors have chosen to locate their schools in health clubs that require memberships.
